What is Atex Zone 22 classification?

Zone 22 is an atmosphere where a cloud of combustible dust can occur. A cloud of combustible dust typically occurs during the manufacturing or storage process. Flammable dust, powder, or gas disperses through the air for short periods, and once airborne, the hazardous cloud of particles creates a potentially explosive environment.

Our ATEX equipment all has ATEX certification and is ideal for use in zone 22 environments.

Atex Zone 22 Dust Applications and Industry Use:

The ATEX A37G vacuum system is ideal for removing the following dust classes, L, M and H. The dust classes also include all hazardous and explosive dust with OEL values ‹ 0.1mg/m3 and carcinogenic dust. Also, dust contaminated with germs and bacteria in Atex Zone 22.

Suitable for use in the chemical, wood processing, plastics, metal, pharmaceuticals, paper, and textile industries.

This vacuum is also appropriate for trade-based businesses such as roofers, painters, bakers, and other Zone 22 environments.
